Your friend does not understand the annulment process. Yes, they were married, he can tell his kids. They are not fatherless as many people claim.

There is always a lot of hurt in a divorce or an annulment.

Your talking out of both sides of your mouth... If the marriage was invalid, as in never happened in the first place, of course the kids would be bastards.

Try as it might, the Church has very little wiggle room here. Your not going to convince very many so affected kids.

My friend was very involved in Catholicim, no longer. He was a teacher in a Jesuit school for years. He probably knows more about than any of us....
However he learned that God has inner healing for those things, and the ‘religious rules and requirements’ of organized religion are just Mans attempt at playing God.
