Did you notice that all those texts are from the Old Testament?

All religions adapt from other cultures. I don’t know why people make such a big deal out of this.

How about because God says, 'DON'T DO IT'???

“Mary is dead in her grave.”

As if you would know.

“And you say that GOD doesn’t answer Protestant prayers...”

No, I never said that. But anti-Catholic Protestants make things up all the time.

“SAY! Didn’t I read this in another thread recently?”

You read? Go on. Tell another.

“Step away from the keyboard; count to ten; take a deep breath (thru your nose; of course) and then return to your tantalizingly witty characterizations of your beloved separated brethren.”

I was clearly right - as evidenced by what happened afterward.

“HMMMmmm...”

You do it. Not me.

“How many mouth-breathers do you know?”

The number is almost equal to the number of Protestant anti-Catholics I know.

“I DEMAND an accurate count!”

Protestant anti-Catholics don’t know what accuracy is.

“Yup; thanks to the Protestants.”

Nope. Despite them.

“Here at FR, a news and issues oriented posting site, in the religion forum when Catholic issues are touted by Catholics; it’s indoctrination.”

Only in your twilight world.

“Likewise...... when people only have a Catholic school education they are capable of being misinformed on many topics.”

Nope. It is well known - even among secular minded educators - that Catholic schools offer an excellent education to students. That’s one of the reasons why many Catholics schools have so many Protestant students.

>>Did you notice that all those texts are from the Old Testament?<<

So you think God changed His mind? I don't.

False. I posted the warning before seeing your post to me.

I review posts by time posted, most recent and then backward regardless of threads. So if misbehavior is happening, I'll catch the last one first. The RF guideline is that if one has been warned on the thread, everyone in the sidebar should consider himself warned.

This is based on the principle that "two wrongs do not make a right."

“False. I posted the warning before seeing your post to me.”

I don’t think it’s false.

“I review posts by time posted, most recent and then backward regardless of threads.”

Okay. In this thread the following happened:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/3205826/posts?page=46#46

An anti-Catholic violated the board rules at 9:45:58 PM.

You said nothing.

Then I posted in response to that Freeper but not to that same post at 9:52:51 PM. [7 minutes after the anti-Catholic Freeper posted]

For that post you said I shouldn’t make it personal at 9:58:48 PM. [13 minutes after the other FReeper posted; 6 minutes after I posted]

I then noted the fact that you ignored the other guy’s post at 10:03:33 PM. [18 minutes after the other guy’s post]

And you then warned that other person at 10:05:02 PM. [20 minutes after the other guy posted, but only 90 seconds after I noted the other guy wasn’t warned as well]

“I review posts by time posted, most recent and then backward regardless of threads.”

Okay, but how is it that you didn’t catch the other person when that person (and actually two different people in the last two days] had his post up essentially by itself for some minutes before I responded? In other words, why was it that my post was gigged by you in a mere 6 minutes, but you didn’t notice his post in the 7 minutes before I responded to it and not for a total of 20 minutes altogether and only after I said something? So my post was noticed, and his was not until after I mentioned it - which you deny had anything to do with you noticing it.

“So if misbehavior is happening, I’ll catch the last one first.”

Okiedokie, so for 7 minutes his post was up there without any response from me and you noticed nothing. Yet within 6 minutes you noticed mine. Thirteen minutes later you finally noticed the other guy’s post - after I mentioned it.

“The RF guideline is that if one has been warned on the thread, everyone in the sidebar should consider himself warned.”

I understand.

It’s really gross. It looks like the heart of a very heavy smoker smooshed between two pieces of glass.

And they still apply. God will not change His Word especially when it pertains to idolatry and necromancy.

As it is, the bishop is imparting a temperature difference by contact with a warm human body (and friction), and applying a shear force by moving the dried fluid. Both of those actions could cause viscous, dried fluids to re-liquify, with no miracle required.

And of course you can cite secular experts or sources that will confirm your position.

And you have participated in “pagan” things too by your own standards, right?

And in their daily life as well. Days of the week named for various pagan gods, same as the month of the year. The calendar being broken up into 12 months, roughly corresponding to the Zodiac. The list goes on.

So it’s gone from denying that the Catholic Church incorporates paganism to “they do it too”!

>>But at least they can spell.<<

I'm sure somewhere in the Catholic catechism it explains how a word here or there misspelled requires some sort of penance to retain salvation.
