The Satanic founders of Dakhma of Angra Mainyu will hold their public black mass at the Oklahoma civic center as planned. The event is sold out.
Tickets for the event are $17.50 and include a performance from a band. The Christian Post reported:
The Satanist group that will stage a controversial black mass at an Oklahoma City civic center has said that all 88 tickets for its Sept. 21 event are sold out. The co-founder of the group revealed that the ritual will go ahead despite strong Christian protests and will feature a satanic exorcism, but will be toned down to comply with state health laws.
One of the dictates of the church is not only to educate the members but to educate the public, and to debunk the Hollywood-projected image of our beliefs, Dakhma of Angra Mainyus Adam Daniels told ABC News.

88 tickets is a “sell-out”?
I guess people can’t get excited about the lord of death anymore. What is the world coming to?
88 tickets.
The “sell out” is defined as selling 88 tickets for a auditorium that has 2500 seats.
That is NOT my definition of a “sell out.” Perhaps the Satanists meant that they managed to find 88 people willing to SELL THEIR SOULS to Satan.
88 tickets? A sell out? I hope 85 of them are evangelists hoping to bring the rest of the 3 to salvation.
I did not click through to the blog - did it say they rented out the auditorium? Often civic centers have smaller rooms to rent also.
I have been an evangelical for over 5 decades and never seen that hate expressed in any conversation. Why, why, would an evangelical go to a black mass because of a theological dispute? Believe me when I say Catholicism would be the least of their worries.
What should happen is all the Christians in the area, from each of the 7 churches written letters in Revelation, encircle the building and sing praises. That is all it would take. Glorifying God. As should every word that comes out of our own mouths.
Parents .. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO ATTEND THIS EVENT.
Be aware that at such events there are spiritual influences there to tempt your children into making horrible decisions they would not otherwise make.
Sometimes, these decisions will be life altering.
Angra Mainyu is the “bad guy” in Zoroastrianism. One of the differences between Zoroastrianism and Christianity is that the “bad guy” and the “good guy” (Ahura Mazda, angel of light, from whom the Mazda car gets its brand name) are of equal strength, and which one wins depends on which one gets the greater number of followers, whereas in Christianity the Triune God is the creator of Lucifer who becomes Satan, and so Jesus, as God the Son, cannot be conquered by Satan.
P.S. I think the word “angry” comes from Angra Mainyu, but I can’t find the source for that at the moment
Perhaps they did rent out a smaller side room, but the stories and thus I’m guessing their statements of a “sell out” is to imply that they are filling the entire auditorium. I don’t expect Satanists to speak the truth.
Every loser within crawling distance will want to attend just to show how much of a “rebel” they are.
What is this place, a phone booth? Do they have Spinal Tap’s Stonehenge set up in the corner?
I thought they returned the supposed host?
The Black Mass has been a feared ritual, and now it's being brought into the light. This will be not only be enlightening but educational as well. This Black Mass will be conducted for the public to attend with certain adaptations to allow for a legal celebration.
Age Restriction: To attend the Black Mass event you must be at least 16 years of age.

I have read the threads here. Typed words are hard to emotionally decipher unless we write in story form. She wrote sadly. In fact my last post on a particularly long thread was that I felt like an Iraqi watching the Shiites and Sunnis. My Bible has a criteria for what makes a person a Christian and that is what I use.
Of course, I do have to admit that 40 years ago I thought a fellow Protestant was going to hell because of a theological point. Instead of debate I went to my Father and cried my heart out. He then brought me to the point where I was ready to put all I had learned at His feet and asked for only the truth. Read my Bible and was shown that my friend was in fact correct. I no longer believe in the “Left Behind” theology. It is lonely out here at times. LOL
Half my family is Catholic and so is my best friend, so maybe I don’t count. I can worship in any church that proclaims Jesus as Son of God.
It may be a 99 seat theater - usually these auditoriums have a “black box” capacity.
And which CS Lewis totally deconstructs in Mere Christianity, pointing out that if good and bad are of equal strength and influence, than neither can truly be one or the other. Of course Lewis's argument contains a lot more structure, depth and eloquence than my very brief summation, but it makes for compelling reading :-)
Wanna bet that it never takes place?
