Of all places, Hulu has this well done, interesting and edifying documentary (with ads) with actor John Rhys-Davies. Describes King James 1 upbringing and and political events, including the Gunpowder Plot and shows historical background and aspects which led to this translation. Will be interesting to see if any Catholics post a defense of the Gunpowder Plot.

Will be interesting to see if any Catholics post a defense of the Gunpowder Plot. They tend to do a fairly good job of pooh-poohing the sins of their evil popes; so I, for one, would like to see the comments on this; too.
