I have met Cardinal Dolan.
He presents as a gregarious, back-slapping used car salesman / wannabe politician.
Hardly what you would call contemplative and serious.
I laughed when his name was proffered as the next Pope.
I cry for my Church.
Dolan is a massive disappointment. No pun intended.
All he wants to be is a Democrat party player, and anything that gets in the way of that - including the Church - can go pound sand.
Don’t laugh. He could be the next.
