God doesn’t want our worship, God wants our obedience.
I see the relationship with God much like the relationship between a parent and their children.
I tell my children what they should do, and what they should not do.
I do this out of love so that they can live happier, healthier, wealthier, longer, more fullfilled lives.
If they listen to what I tell them, it will make me happy because they they are happy.
Thus it is with God.
The Measure of a Man
The measure of a man isn't his wealth, or how he looks or speaks.
The measure of a man is how he uses his God given strengths to:
Provide for his family
Help his neighbors and
Take care of himself.
When he does these things to the best of his ability he honors God and he is a Man.
“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.(Jn 4:2324).
**God doesnt want our worship,**
Yes, He does.
**God wants our obedience.**
Something we cannot give.
