>> “Peter, guided by the Holy Spirit, decided that is how they should do it.” <<
.
Nonsense!
They decided, without any input from the Holy Spirit, to appoint an apostle, which they did, and then God ignored their appointment and appointed Paul instead, and Mathias was never heard of again.
Only Yeshua could appoint an apostle.

They decided, without any input from the Holy Spirit, to appoint an apostle, which they did, and then God ignored their appointment and appointed Paul instead, and Mathias was never heard of again "in the text" which was also true of about half of these
And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.. This is the error of Solo Scriptura. There are twelve thrones for the Apostles and they will sit on them judging you, whether you dignify them or not.
Only Yeshua could appoint an apostle.
And Yeshua gave Simeon the keys to the kingdom of heaven and the power to bind and loose. I trust Simeon, I know he knew the LORD and was appointed to shepherd the sheep.

You must be correct.
You got a stupid rerun of a graphic for a response.
