And some refuse to trust the judgment of any moderator that is not known to be Catholic. I wonder if Protestants would be stripped of their right to vote, should our country become majority Catholic?
With the longing for the return of the Inquisition that I've seen some FRoman Catholics express, that would only be the start.
Only faithful Catholics get to vote?
And what do we become?
A third world hell hole like the predominantly Catholic countries like the Philippines, Colombia, Brazil?
If the most highly Catholic cities and states in THIS country are any indication, that IS what we’d become.
Catholic monarchy? The RCC set precedent for hundreds of years.
No thanks.
I know a lot would think you are being funny, but look at what's happening to Christians in Russia. The state recognizes the orthodox and persecutes Evangelical Christians.
I usually was treated fairly by the RM, whoever it was. It just got to the point where I figured why bother with the non-stop complaining. In some ways it's liberating. I no longer have to try and screen articles to avoid any mention of the RC's and they tend to avoid the longer threads that are more detailed.
I suspect the RM's get worn down as well. I don't believe the Evangelical Christians complain anywhere near as much and if there is a bias it's probably due more to them giving in from all the complaining than any inherent bias.
