And again, this is the point of contention. You are certainly adding to Scripture when you clam it says anywhere that itself, is the ONLY source of Truth!

This is what you are not getting, or stubbornly refusing to admit. When you show me a Scripture that says, "Scripture ALONE is the source of ALL truth (about Christianity)" then we will talk further.

Let's not forget the truth that John was saying something quite profound - not hinting that he could have written more if he only had the time. He said that there were many other things which Jesus DID that if they WOULD be written down, the WHOLE, WIDE WORLD could not contain enough room to hold all the books that could be written! Isn't this something we can all agree on? There isn't enough ink or paper or gigabytes in the entire universe to say everything there is to say about Jesus. BUT, John said, these things - those that were written - were written so that we might believe and by believing have life in Jesus' name.
