If you read my exchanges with the others who believe that Paul is a shady character, you will notice one thing in common — THEY DON’T ACCEPT PAUL’s epistles.
Therefore, anything he says about himself ( say, the epistle to the Galatians ) is suspect to these people.
Which is to say, they pick and choose what part of the New Testament they will accept as God’s word.
THAT is exactly what got the PCUSA into this situation (i.e. accepting gay marriage )
I was a little shocked by some of the responses. How can you call yourself a Christian and not know, and enjoy, Paul’s revelation?

And I bet none of the naysayers could follow the words of JESUS TO THE LETTER.
Obedience to the Scribes and Pharisees, selling all you have and follow Jesus, keeping the LAW of MOSES perfectly, ect.
God gave Israel 40 years, just like he did in the desert. After 40 years, the place of sacrifice was destroyed and a ROMAN temple to Jupiter built on the spot. Now a mosque pollutes the site.
