Except that’s exactly the sort of thing that happened with homosexuality 40 years ago.

The same was said of homosexuality. Remember, it was removed from Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 40 years ago - and the DSM is NOT a religion guided book by any means.

I understand, but they ultimate goal of the sexual revolution is the sexual use of children. That has always been the goal. The revolutionaries are headed to it. It is inevitable unless someone stops it. Everything you said could have been said about homosexuality, polygamy, and polyamory just 40 years ago. Now, they have all gone significantly mainstream. All it takes is winning the popular culture. Hmm, still, I’d prefer to wait and see if it actually happens. I’m ruthlessly devoted to “innocent until proven guilty” and I certainly don’t like it when the gun grabbers push the idea that I should have to prove my innocence.
Something else occurs to me on the matter. If it’s one day ruled that underage children can consent to sex, then all those organizations working against child soldiers and child laborers are going to be SOL, and I doubt I’m the only one intelligent enough to see that, so that’s another major obstacle against pedophilia becoming legalized.
