Do you know if he re-converted on his death bed and was given the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick?
I don’t — perhaps that happened, and so I can’t really judge. Can you?

Do you know if he re-converted on his death bed and was given the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick? I dont perhaps that happened, and so I cant really judge. Can you? That is lame, as we are talking about Rome's treatment of him while he was yet manifestly impenitent, and even insolently asserted in his letter to the pope that he never failed to believe and respect the fundamental teachings of his church. And rather than being reproved, he was granted special treatment.
