I seriously doubt a true Calvinist church embraces homosexuality in any form.
Their mainline Presbyterian organization does. I’m sure that if this particular church found out they voted in a pastor that would later be revealed to be gay, there would be a congrational split. The libs, being in line with the organization would get to stay, while the others would be looking for another meeting place.
A rural church, their numbers are dwindling; smaller families, and fewer farmers, plus the “I believe in Jesus, why go to church” mentality has cut it down to less than half of it’s attendance of about 40 yrs ago. They had a split in the 90’s over allowing women trustees, which made a big dent rather quickly.
