Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
The Trees of The Bible
Leviticus 23
The Feast of Booths
New International Version (NIV)
39'On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the LORD for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day. 40'Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. 41You shall thus celebrate it as a feast to the LORD for seven days in the year. It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
The Feast of Booths (Tabernacles) is one of the Mandatory Feasts in the Bible. It recalls the 40 years of wandering in the Desert, when the people lived in tents. Even the Desert Temple was a portable, temporary structure. While the celebration of this Feast brings joy, it also reminds us that we are but Sojourners here on Earth, and that life here is temporary.
The Willow Tree has a double meaning. In this instance, the Willow represents joy. In other places in the Bible (such as Psalm 137) it represents mourning.
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
Hallelujah and Amen

To: left that other site; All
Willow trees are a favorite of mine. They are beautiful, with swaying branches. Very graceful, relatively short lived as trees go, and must have lots of water to survive. Willows are fast growing trees, thus they are more fragile to wind damage, and shorter life spans. etc.
God has richly blessed America and it seems we may be in a JOB period of testing as a nation.
WILL WE WAKE UP AND TURN BACK TO GOD?
FORGIVE US FATHER WE KNOW NOT WHAT WE DO!
HAVE MERY ON AMERICA, IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.
WE PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF ISRAEL, JERUSALEM, and for the persecuted believers, the lost, the captives, and for all seeking to know God and follow his commandments, and love our neighbor as our self. AMEN.

We are all wanderers in the wilderness waiting for our Lord’s return.
Lifting up Israel, for the day they turn to Messiah. And lifting up all God’s people, with weeping and joy, looking for the second coming.
