I don't normally care what a person believes when it comes to one's faith, well I do but I don't argue with them.
Last night though .. I was outraged!
Am I the only one to have heard the program?
I don’t know, I guess it is because I don’t like Paul being called the anti-Christ.
I also don’t like him being portrayed as hating Jesus.
(The way the author talked .. Jesus and Paul were enemies and he wasn’t talking about when Paul was known as Saul)
I know, it is not how one should react .. I have no excuse, I was just upset and wondered if anyone else (on FR) had heard the show.
As has been pointed out, Catholics like Noory imagine themselves quite sophisticated compared to those kooky Protestant fundamentalists.
Eric Harley and Gary McNamara (sp?)
They are Fantastic!
Have to get them on the pc because they aren’t on in this market.
I think they are out of Texas?
it was blaspmeous
So you listened to a show that specializes in putting crackpot theories and whackadoodles on the air, and then got mad because your heard some crazy author spewing nonsense? Seriously?
You gotta find a better way to spend your time when your bored. Listen to some music, read a book, etc. Coast to Coast is not to be taken seriously...ever.
You can listen to Red Eye Radio on IHeart. Very convenient! I agree with you that they’re great. Funny and smart and fair.
Listening to them also teaches me a little about truckers and their concerns, which is very interesting and increases my already high respect for them.
That's the trouble with Noory. It's one thing to have kooky guests, but it's quite another thing to blindly accept everything they have to say, without any discussion whatsoever.
Maybe he feels he has to be the rubber stamp just to get guests for the show. But, in fact, he would get them anyway because the guests are mainly there to promote their latest books.
The show is really just an infomercial.
Red Eye Radio! I catch a podcast now and then. They are smart and entertaining.
And they don’t talk about chemtrails, the illuminati or shadow people (yes, I too listened to Coast to Coast when I was working late in years past). I thought it was funny C2C had a “Wild Card line” when nearly every call was pretty wild in the “hi, I’m nuts” sense.
Been listening to Eric and Gary for a couple of years now.
I, like you try to spread the word about their show.
They are the best I have ever heard (even better than Rush) at explaining almost everything!
Putting rhetoric into layman’s terms where “Even I” can understand it! 8)
No, there were probably four or five other numbnuts tuned in.
IMO, the contemporary anti-Paul crowd is trying to undermine his credibility because of his teachings on same-sex relationships.
I heard it too. Very strange. Paul killed James. A stand in Jesus rose from the dead, for the dead Jesus of course. Quite odd and scant to non existent scriptural support.
It's entertaining to me which is why I listen to some of the shows.
If listening gets you worked up then just tune out like I do when the Crazy
guests come on, like that Linda Howe Earth worshiping psycho.
Read the last part of Matthew then read the Acts of the Apostles (Acts). An apostle was chosen: "And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles."
Matthias replaced Judas. Paul came along later, but was eventually considered "an" apostle, but not the 12th.
I love listening to the Red Eye guys. I think they are my 2nd favorite behind Rush, to be honest.
Gay marriage started out as an opinion.
I used to listen to coast-to-coast regularly, but Noory is nice guy who does not have the edge or the challenging programming of Art Bell.
Red Eye Radio aka Midnight Truckers Radio Network?
I refer to her as “Linda Mutton Howl”
Red Eye Radio's pretty good.
