I did not comment on those threads so I can’t go through my posts. Additionally, when I posted links to threads earlier, the mod deleted them. He/she claimed that was not permitted. You can look up thread to see that post. I posted links that showed how anti-Christian a poster on this thread was being toward Catholic children. Children!
You’re welcome to search Jim Rob’s posts to see them. The first time I ever saw him post something like that was back in the fall when Jodyel started an anti-Catholic thread and then stated that Catholics were not Christians. The flame war that ensued resulted in her requesting to be formally taken off of FR. You, metmom, gave her an amen when Jodyel made that comment.

So; are you upset that MM agreed with J; or that she was TOO agreeable about the whole matter.

If you come across a post that you feel is abusive, just click the associated abuse link on the post and the mods will take a look. But review the rules on the Religion Moderator’s profile page first. There’s a lot of leeway allowed in “debate” on “open” threads on RF posts. Debate the issue all you wish but steer clear of personal attacks, etc.

The mods don’t sit here and read every post. They do, however, check those that have been reported.

If you wish to discuss a previous dispute, go the previous thread and post your remarks there.

Well, I can’t tell which poster was being *anti-Christian* towards children. I never saw anything like that.

You know what? Being Catholic does not by default mean being a Christian. Nor does being Christian by default mean being a Catholic.

Nor does being a Baptist by default mean being a Christian.

One is not a Christian based on denominational affiliation or membership, or even baptism. One is a Christian by being a follower of Christ, irrespective of denominational ties.

There are saved and unsaved in every denomination. Since denominations don’t save, that is not how one becomes a Christian.

Catholics are Catholics. Whether they’re Christians too, is a different matter. One does not become a Christian by following a church, but by following Christ.
