Is this a caucus thread?

I have a question about exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

The priest or deacon is the ordinary minister of exposition but in the beginning of June, when our priests all go to retreat, lay people are exposing the Sacrament after the Communion Service at our parish.

I did so myself last year when it was my turn to conduct the Communion service for the daily Mass attendees. I didn’t think about it then, but reading this, I am wondering if I was wrong to do so.

At certain times it could be OK, but only the deacon or priest can do the Blessings with the monstrance.
