Carter’s crazy. His family should have taken him away from contact with the public years ago.

You’d have trouble finding a jail that would take him.

He’s a typical anti-Papist. I hate to say it but we have plenty of them right here on FR. Yeah, it’d be nice to see Barney Fife lock him up overnight at The Rock in the same cell with Otis.

Carter whitewashed John Kerry’s records so he could run for office. Kerry had been busted form Officer O3 in the Navy to E1 which is as low as you can go. Carter why did you cover the treason?

Hmm...I'm not exactly certain that not allowing a woman to be a priest constitutes open approval of assault and battery, but what do I know?

What Jimmuh needs isn't a jail cell, it's a keeper.

To paraphrase Ann Coulter: Jimmy Carter’s incompetence is so overwhelming, it’s sometimes easy to forget just how supercilious and hypocritical he is....

No, Mr. Donohue. If for no other reason than that putting that old coot in gen pop would constitute cruel and unusual punishment. For the rest of the prisoners, that is.

Why punish the other prisoners? I mean there is a limit as to how much a man can stand to suffer.

How very, very sad. Pathetic. I guess he wants to make sure he’s considered our worst president, altho that’ll be a stretch with the illegal alien in our White House.

Carter displays the same sort of thoughtful understanding of Catholicism that I read on FR almost daily. Which begs the question of just who should be in jail?!?

;-)

It’s amazing. Carter claims to have been a Sunday School Teacher yet he never read the letters written by Paul covering these matters? Absolutely Amazing. I’d like for him to point to chapter and verse where it states man can be an abusive tyrant to wife and family and do so with GOD’s Blessing. I read quite the opposite with a burden of responsibility and accountability placed upon the man for treatment of his family as well as providing for them.

I heard Carter refer to RWR as "ol Reagan" the other day.

No class, right to the end.

Come on people. The guy will be 90 years old this year. Don’t even report on what he says. My dad was pretty lucid when he was 90, but sitting down to an interview would had been a stretch.

Carter is given over to the failed concept described by Robert Bork as radical egalitarianism, which defies or ignores physical facts.

In the Christian paradigm, women are not inferior. Quite the opposite--they are esteemed.

But they are different. God made them so, and (I believe) has chosen for each of us what we are to be, including gender.

But the implementation of the religious aspects of leadership as pastors, bishops, elders, deacons, and/or teachers of doctrine is decidedly not given to humans of the female gender. They are given other important essential functions (not to be delegated to human males) for which they are responsible; and when carried out as intended, will receive the commendation, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant" at the Bema Seat of Christ.

Where most denominations have erred is in instituting a non-Biblical system of ecclesiological administration, the bifurcation into clergy and lay classes. In fact, one o the important features of a Christian assembly is that it regards all believers to consist of a kingdom of priests, women included, distinctly different than the organizational model of religion under the Mosaic/Davidic covenant.

To disregard this fact is fatal to executing the way God is currently dealing with mankind.

And this is where Carter goes 'way astray, in both religion, politics, international statesmanship, and family life.

My wife cannot be a priest (among other reasons, she’s not Catholic). I cannot be a nun (male; also not Catholic). I don’t see either restriction as a sign of inferiority. Carter has always been an educated fool, and now he’s losing what little connection he ever had to reality.
