Mary was the mother of the Church. DISAGREE...SHE is the mother of Christ.

Jesus is the Body of the Church after all.

This “logic” is a bit of a stretch.

Romans calls Jesus the "firstborn of many brethren". If Jesus is spiritually your eldest brother, what does that make Mary?

Christ is the Body of the Church. No stretch at all. Mary is the Mother of God. Many Protestants call that a stretch too - thereby denying Christ’s divinity even if unintentionally.
