CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH SECOND EDITION
PART ONE THE PROFESSION OF FAITH SECTION TWO THE PROFESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH
CHAPTER THREE I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
ARTICLE 9 "I BELIEVE IN THE HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH"
Paragraph 6. Mary - Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church
963 Since the Virgin Mary's role in the mystery of Christ and the Spirit has been treated, it is fitting now to consider her place in the mystery of the Church. "The Virgin Mary . . . is acknowledged and honored as being truly the Mother of God and of the redeemer. . . . She is 'clearly the mother of the members of Christ' . . . since she has by her charity joined in bringing about the birth of believers in the Church, who are members of its head."502 "Mary, Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church."503
I dont have to. All I have to do is prove the apostles taught something. Can you do that with the assumption of Mary?
Mat_12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
I have to go on to other things - like a peaceful night’s sleep - but thanks for the fun everyone. I hope you come to know Christ and His Church one day.
Did.
All of scripture says “sola scriptura.” And thats how it will stay.
.
Anything but scripture is an addition to scripture, and thus is cursed with every curse in the book and forbidden.
.
:) 9 seconds ahead of me...
Vlad lost and went home, no rush!
.
Where the Spirit leads right? :-)
“All of scripture says sola scriptura.”
Actually, none of it does.
“And thats how it will stay.”
Nope. Because it never was.
“Anything but scripture is an addition to scripture, and thus is cursed with every curse in the book and forbidden.”
You hold onto that thought while you search the Bible for a verse that says Matthew wrote a gospel.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8-9
Now find me another source of what the apostles taught other than scripture. If you cant, that leaves you with the only source of what the apostles taught as found in scripture. AKA Sola Scriptura.
The Holy Spirit wrote the gospel of Matthew as He did all the other scriptures. Its the Catholics that follow the man. Its true Christians who follow Christ and the counselor He sent.
>>Is the Lord God? The answer is yes. Thus, Mary is the mother of GOD. Its just that simple.<<
If that is how you deciphered the lexicon of two different languages adding in LORD in the OT was a form of the tetragrammaton as the LXX interpreters used instead of Yahweh or YHWH. Then your conclusion is Elizabeth knowingly knew that she was proclaiming Mary “the mother of YHWH.”
Is every other use of Lord in the NT the same?
Thus my use of scriptures and not using Bible. The implication was the written Words came much later which is inaccurate as we have evidence Paul wrote his epistles to living humans who read them in his lifetime.
Oh yes! My heart is filled with such amazement and love when I look into my own grandson’s eyes. He is 5 now. It is bittersweet as I watch him grow up because I long for him to stay joyful, sweet, kind and innocent. They are truly precious. Then the world gets hold of them:(
H151=YHWH which =g2962 NT Lord.
Answer: No.
H151 in the lexicon is Adoram: “my lord is exalted.”

Twice used in the OT for an official (name) under David and later a name for an official under Rehoboam.
What you seek is H3068:
http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=H3068&t=KJV
The root being (you will recognize it well) hayah H1961:
http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?strongs=H1961&t=KJV
Which has a further root which is VERY interesting as in Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus:
H1933 hava:

Looking at Strongs right now. H151 is Adoram; Yahweh is H3068.
I am glad you mentioned this. You have loads to discuss with the USCCB and their NABRE.
