Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
Oh LORD, Our God,
How Blessed is Your Holy Name!
You Alone Are Worthy of Praise,
For You Alone Are The One True God.
Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent,
Teach us To Stand Firm,
Like the Mighty Cedar that Graces The Earth.
.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.
Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem
In the Torah, a dreadful source of uncleanness and impurity was contact with a corpse. This makes perfect sense, because disease is a result of corruption, and a dead body is full of contagion.
The Ritual of the Red Heifer was originally the Purification Rite for someone who had come in contact with a corpse. The Heifer needed to be completely Red, without even a few black hairs, and the antiseptic and disinfecting qualities of Cedar and Hyssop are once again employed.
Some contemporary Jewish and Christian Groups consider this particular Ritual necessary for the Coming of Messiah, and the search has been ongoing for a red heifer of perfect color, without spot or blemish. A few have been found, but then were disqualified for not meeting all criteria. The search is based on commentaries and speculation, and not upon the actual Torah Passage, but it is interesting that religious people are thinking about these things again after so many years!
Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For our Beloved Nation.

As we are in the Lent, I read a commentary concerning the uncleanness of touching a corpse with the Passion of Christ. After Christ died on the cross during the Holy Season of Passover, Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimethea purposefully made themselves unclean by touching Christ’s dead to bury Him.
The irony as the leader that framed Him who not enter Pilate’s palace to make themselves unclean.
Blessings for you posts and many lesson. You could write a book.

Heavenly Father, forgive us our daily sins, we bow before Thee in praise, honor, worship, seeking to know Thee and serve Thee, and grow ever more into the image of Jesus Christ. We pray for the peace of Israel, Jerusalem, for the seekers wanting to know Thee and be pleasing before Thee. We are so blessed everyday. Help us to serve Thee in all we do. In Jesus name amen.
