My Mom had a possible stroke, she told my sister that God is coming to get her
prayers up!

My MIL had alzheimers first then the stroke late January 13. She has been in care home since. Today she is physically well but mentally almost gone. She still recognizes my husband as he works in the care home and sees her several times daily but usually not on weekends. She has become very argmentative and suspicious and wont be long before she is in the final stage. She can still feed herself and walk with a walker but she is falling a lot. Its rough but we are grateful for the choices we made regarding her final years. Good luck to you Jim and if you need to talk you know where to find me.

It sounds like she was found and on tje way to treatment early. Very very good.
My mom had a stroke several years ago and wasnt found for 24 hours. Not good.

Prayers for your mother, that God will watch over her and do what is best for her.
Make sure she is actually admitted, not just being “held for observation”. It makes a HUGE difference in insurance coverage.
In hindsight , I believe my Mil had the stroke sometime on Sunday, but was acting strange that day she was with us, She was very emotional and not fun to be around. We brought her home that night and I found her around 3 pm on Monday after not being able to get her on the phone. She did make a good recovery but we knew she could no longer live alone so we did the 2 weeks rehab and then to care home where she is being well looked after even though she doesn’t realize it.
and i believe she has to be in the hospital for 3 days....in order to qualify for acute rehab... please do all the research you can and talk to the social workers.
