+1 for coining the phrase “a strange angularity”.

Usage: I just watched Johnny Depp in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He brought ‘a strange angularity’ to the movie in as he took on the role of Hunter S. Thompson.

**There are many people even today who in imitation of [the builders at Babel] want to be remembered for such achievements, by building splendid homes, baths, porches and drives. I mean, if you were to ask each one of them why they toil and labor and lay out such great expense to no good purpose, you would hear nothing but these very words [Let us make a name for ourselves].**

Let us make a name for ourselves in heaven rather than on earth.

Good article.

**Come, let us go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”**

Did anyone miss the plural in that sentence like I have for years?

To me it means, Father, Son AND Holy Spirit went down to confuse their languages.

Of course, then the Father and the Son sent the Holy Spirit at Pentecost to let the Apostles and Disciples preach and be understood by all — untangling the languages.
