Did God want to 'put His thumb on humanity' as Satan suggested to Eve in Genesis 3:1-5?

And being innocent isn’t tantamount to her being a dolt, either, or lacking the ability to ferreting out Satan’s faulty premise.

How old are you? And could you have figured this out as a young teen?

Your description seems to be what many politicians are striving for. Its not love but power Satan wanted, sounds like many democrats and their polices are directly the opposite of the 10 commandants, covet the neighbors goods, adultery is no sin, all sexual sins are fine and dandy, there is no god so lets get such things out of the public square, the children are not children of God but of the government. In other words, all democrat policy is exact what Satan wants. That is why they are called the party of evil. And they are still telling Satan’s lies, eve and adam are still walking the earth in politics...democrats are telling lies to everyone or 1/2 lies that sound good to those that don't think or know how he works...poor fools, even many republicans...just my opinion.

Did Jesus walk away, or successfuly retort against Satan, when Satan said “If thou be the Son of God...”. Check and mate.

What a stupid response. Jesus, know all things, is able to respond to all lies. Eve, not knowing all things, or having a 'knowledge of good and evil", may not have known how to respond. She was expected to obey God, not win a debate.

Thanks. I will, although one should always try to falsify one’s theories, which is the measure by how well they stand, or not.

God’s grace to You and Yours.

since you do not believe in the same God that I do, it is rather pointless

No, not a stupid response, and quit with the strawman argument.

You know as well as I that this is not about winning debates, and I never suggested such. You raised that to suit your diversionary purposes, we are to be obedient to God. Obedient, yes, but obedient and telling Satan how the cookie les isn’t out of order with God..

It should also be considered that prior to the eating of the fruit, both Adam and Eve were innocent (and possibly naïve as a result).

That was the point of not knowing good and evil,
to be innocent of the knowledge of evil.

Secondly, going back to verse 38, Jesus quoted God’s word in response to Satan when tempted and Eve should have done the same telling Satan that Satans words didn’t line up with God’s words - and it wouldn’t have hurt, either, to tell him how.

The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, who became Israel. But, what you will.

No if you are a monotheist you do not worship God as I understand Him.

The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob that you refer to is a trinatarian God consisting of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Now IF you mean that God then I am sorry I jumped to a wrong conclusion. IF on the other hand you do not mean that God, then your blessing are kind words from you but with NO meaning for me

Oops. “how the cookie crumbles...”

You know as well as I that there is a distinct difference between worldly knowledge and Godly knowledge, which you obscure with your broad brushstroke.

Jesus told Satan that “man shall...live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

Words that proceeded out of the mouth of God (paraphrased): The day that you (Adam and Eve) eat of that fruit...you shall die.

It wouldn't be non-obedient for Eve to quote God's own words and then explain to Satan how he was lying. Why? Because...

...The Apostles knew how to walk and chew bubble-gum at the same time, that's why. They were obedient to God, yet confronted error and false doctrine with WORDS, both spoken and written.

Quit hiding behind Eve, and explain just how I am wrong in showing how Satan’s premise was flawed and in error.

sorry for not being clear. Just making the comparison between God’s laws (10 commandants) vs. Democrat policys that break every one. don’t understand how anyone that call themselves christian can be a democrat..or in the case of republicans, some of them are not much better, If I drifter off subject, sorry.....

Got it. I agree. Some times my brain just misses the point no matter how clear. :)
