Why did he want them naked? That sounds dumb, or am I missing something?My guess is it was an incentive for them to learn to swim quickly or continue to be humiliated by "swimming" on the table nekkid in front of everybody. Didn't work.

The story of a Christian pastor walking (like Jesus) into water to never be seen again originated in 2006 in World Net Daily.

Problem with it is that Pastor Franck Kabele, 35 never existed before, during or after he “drowned” in WND story. No one has ever heard of “his congregation.” Nonetheless the story keeps getting resurrected as “news” over the years. The purpose is to show the non-Christian sheeple how terribly stupid Christians are.
Hearing such story for the first time, my question would be, how do you make a single step from a beach into water and just disappear? Or, taking the original WND version from 2006, why would you keep walking deeper and deeper into water until you drown?
