My point is, Jesus does address taxes. And instructs those who follow him to pay their taxes. It doesn’t mean you have to agree with the level or taxation, and doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be fighting to lower them, but by saying “not paying taxes is a sin” in no way puts government ahead of God.

The question is, are those taxes legal? WE are Caesar in this country. WE are the government. WE established certain rules for the fedgov to follow. Any activity they do outside of those rules is illegal. Yes we should pay legal taxes. But the vast majority of fedgov taxes are illegal. They are NOT authorized by the Constitution Please note that I was not addressing the primacy of God or state. I was only addressing that not paying taxes is not necessarily a sin.
