Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Good Morning!

May You All Have a Blessed, Healthy, and Happy New Year!

I have returned from my "vacation" up North, in which I repaired Tile, Participated in installing an Electric Stove, Shoveled Snow(not a lot), helped repair a shower valve, and provided some daily wound care for my Mom. It made me REALLY appreciate my sister Patty and her hubby Don, who do all of the above plus help raise twin infant grandsons who are the joy of their life! My brother Tom has taken on the task of raising HIS two grandsons, age 11 and 5, after the recent and sudden death of his beloved daughter Chris. Another sister is helping raise HER grandson, and two of my other sibs are prepping to leave Taxachusetts. So, my beloved family is both coming together and splitting up at the same time. It was a wonderful visit, and I got to see everybody in my huge family.
Lynn-Dah-The-Dog enjoyed her stay so much at the Pet Lodge, but she was really happy to come home with her Momma.

We are starting the Book of Zechariah Today! This is a Book by a prophet that was a contemporary of Daniel, and lived in Babylon during the Exile.
He is another so-called "Minor" Prophet, but he has a MAJOR Message for our day!
The imagery in Zechariah is remarkable, and bears a close resemblance to the Visions recorded in The Book of Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and the Book of Revelation.
The Book is replete with Visions of Lamp-stands, Olive Trees, Horses, Bowls of oil, and Angels.
I hope and pray that you will enjoy this rather difficult Book with me, and be edified by it.

You may find some of the Imagery very relevant to today's headlines.

Come and pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our families and FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Own Beloved USA.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

ML/LTOS

Happy New Year Dear sister, so glad to see you back. This morning before I logged onto FR, I posted this in my journal: Zechariah 9:12 Return to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope; even to-day do I declare that I will render double unto thee. . . O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and for ever. Psalm 131:3 Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem and the Salvation of Israel - Looks like Zechariah was on my heart too. I look forward to praying this book together for the Peace of Jerusalem <3

Great you are looking at the “minor” prophets - which are so neglected. There are gems in there.

Joining in prayer for all the saints in Israel, our beloved country and the world.

Welcome back, we missed you.

Symbolical ism tends to be difficult to understand. God's word stands forever.

One of the reasons for so many denomination's and differences in interpretation are man's opinions become part of the teaching. Humanism is wide spread currently and has been for many years. We pray for light to see truly when we come to Thy Word in Jesus name. Amen.

Everlasting Father, Eternal one, help us to discern The truth of Thy Word. We pray for the peace of Israel, Jerusalem, for men of good will, for America to regain our moorings and the base of our faith. We love Thee, glorify Thee, praise, honor and worship Thy Word. We thank Thee for Thy continuing blessings in our lives. We glorify Thy love, hope, grace, tender mercies, goodness, compassion, righteousness, and loving kindness. thank Thee LORD.
