In the twinkling of an eye, maybe? But there will be a trumpet sound a moment before.

Just like a twinkling, how long is a moment in G_d’s timetable? LOL! Praise Jesus. For those expecting the Rapture, it can’t happen soon enough.

In the twinkling of an eye, maybe? But there will be a trumpet sound a moment before.

Which Jesus puts after the Great Tribulation by his description of
1. a tribulation greater than has ever been seen in history or will ever be seen in history followed by
2. his return visible to all nations of the earth and
3. the subsequent gathering of his people from all corners, so to speak, of the earth.
As in the order of 1, 2, 3?

Maybe the order of events described by Jesus in Matthew 24 will make things a bit clearer:
1. ...then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

2. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened...

3. ...then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

4. ...he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Boiled down a bit more so as to not get lost in all the words:
1. Great tribulation such as has never been seen or will be seen.

2. Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven, seen by everyone on earth.

3. Sound of trumpet and angels collecting elect throughout the earth.
And now again:
1. Great tribulation.
2. Jesus returns.
3. Trumpet sounded. (see 1 Corinthians 15:52).
4. Angels sent.
5. Believers gathered (after the evildoers are taken out of their midst, as in one shall be taken and one left). (see 1 Corinthians 15:23)
