Those that were not ‘known’ from the foundation of creation.

He came only for “those that the Father had given.”

Them damned 'interpreters'!!!

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Matthew 7:

[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

Is he the interpreter you were talking about?

" not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. "

The key 2 words here is " willing " and " should ".

Should is not a definite word like " must " .

God's heart of hearts is that none should perish but never the less some will perish.
How do you explain the rich man in the story of Lazarus and the rich man ? he perished.
Perhaps Peter is talking about all those whom God has elected should come to repentance and that God is willing that none of his elected ones would perish.
