The Evangelical doctrine, or I should say "Christianity" as a whole is fragile. It's actually a very small sphere of knowledge and shrinking. Dream on. This is NOT a message that will meet with favor on FreeRepublic.
BTW, if this is the mormon stance, WHY do you all keep insisting that you are "Christians"?

(We can thank Mitt Romney for the present situation in our country. His feet are made of clay.)

This is the end result of mormonism, the “god”like arrogance that looks with airy tolerance on the Gentile lab rats. If only you had the sense to swallow the blue pill, you could become a human being, if you chose...or a god, if ultimate arrogance, mental trauma or complete brainwashing plus magic temple juju could make you assume such an opinion of yourself.
What other result do you expect from a “Joseph Smith succeeded, Jesus failed, you’re a god, Jehovah was just a man and an also-ran” doctrine? The smile of the “soul winner” who knows they’re not good enough and need to score points to be recommended for magic juju, or the smile of the completely mad who has had the juju, swallowed the koolaid, and can’t wait to send their first memo at their new job: “And let there be light.”
I don’t know about you, but anyone who actually baptizes dead interior designers so one of his spirit wives can redecorate his palace in ths clouds while he creates a new heaven and a new earth, is not one I would over-effort rational debate with. I’d spritz him with holy water, place a “caution” sign, and move on. Just me.

It's actually a very small sphere of knowledge and shrinking.Sounds like SOMEONE has been doing the NSA thing during LP & Q of 12 meetings about the state of the Church...
And then getting confused.

So? If you don't like it, prove me wrong. Show me where modern "Christianity" has added one new piece of knowledge about God or His kingdom. I'll be happy to say I was wrong.
"BTW, if this is the mormon stance, WHY do you all keep insisting that you are "Christians"?"
This has be discussed ad nauseam. "Christianity" does NOT equal "Christian". Christianity is a system of religions which includes sects, denominations, and independent churches that revolve around a common set of creeds.
"Christian" is a follower of Jesus Christ.
I am a Christian, but not a member of "Christianity".
