Well, of COURSE ... but only we whom have been saved and have some preaching and bible reading understand those words and that concept .... not a nominal Catholic that knows nothing of spiritual matters except heaven hell and purgatory and being conditioned to "ask fathah" if you have a question.
No Catholic in the 50's and 60's was encouraged to read the bible ... just go to mass and confession
