You make much of Mary, especially Pope Francis. And all you do is ask Mary to pray for you?

Yes. The Holy Spirit, or "Helper", Jesus sent into my heart. He , being God, makes appeals to God on my behalf above and beyond any created being, such as Mary, can make. God "overshadows" Mary once again.
