(catholics alone, thaat you even know who Jesus Christ is...do you seriously think that the Jewish community would have kept you up to date on a person who they do not recognize as more than a well known troublemaker???? Have you ever read the book of Acts about the establishment of the early church?

the early church was virtually all Jews, thousands of them, until God sent Paul to the Gentiles. of course they WERE Jews, until they became followers of Christ.....a follower of Christ is, by definition, a Christian...therefore, the early church followers of Christ were Christians who soon became known as CATHOLICS...
