Jesus is the way and the Scripture you gave makes that clear, but it doesn’t say ONLY those who believe will be saved. It says that if you believe you will be saved.

Read John 3:18

The truth and only the truth.

Opinion and only opinion.

Trust in Jesus Christ, believe he died on the cross for your sins and receive the gift of eternal life given to you by the grace of God.

and at least belong to the church that He originated....not some man made church of what's happening now..

Meanwhile "by who?" is the question asked you, for since Scripture cannot be the real basis for your assurance of truth, nor your interpretation of history, then who or what is?

scripture, which was written, edited, transcribed, saved, copied (by hand) by Catholics is the source, along with the Catholic church herself which, as we all know, is infallible.

I would hope the fact that you failed to note that Scripture is infallible is merely an oversight.

However, *we* don't all agree that the church is infallible.

That is another opinion and only an opinion.

So, please explain how an infallible church can elect an idiot for a pope.

Here is a bunch of the RIGHT men:

you have to come up with a new attack, this one doesn't work....there are evil people everywhere and the Catholic Church is no exception.......well except for the fact that these popes, evil as they may have been, were still infallible in matters of faith and morals.....INFALLIBLE.

You’ve outlined the Catholic faith quite well.

THANK YOU!!! outlining the truth is easy, you just repeat the truth....don't change it, don't PROTEST it, just say it over and over...soon everyone will understand and accept it!!!

Men engaged in gross immorality *infallible* in faith and morals?

That doesn't work either. If they can't even keep their own lives in order, they are in no position to preach at others about how THEY should be living.

Non-Catholics, not blinded by years of brainwashing and indoctrination, can see the rank hypocrisy of that assertion. We're not that gullible.

I rest my case!

when an attorney has given it his/her all and realizes that the client is going to get the gas chamber, that's what they say....I couldn't prove my case against Catholicism so I'll rest my case.

t has nothing to do with a Church. Nothing to do with rejection. Everything to do with the grace of God.

that is exactly what the Catholic church teaches....why the confusion???

People and popes are not.

people, no....Popes, yes....Infallible....if you argue the piont, give a situation where the Pope erred in an official declaration on a matter of faith or morals.....2,013 years, no errors!!!

“in matters of faith and morals the Catholic Church CANNOT err. “ Evidence? Facts? Just try to support that claim in history.

every official proclamation from the Vatican, having to do with matters of faith and morals has been true......find one for me that was in error...

So Catholics should venerate Judas just as they do Mary.

think about it, Judas may have been the first protestant....he had the truth, he knew Christ, he rejected the truth, he decided that he knew better how to obtain salvation without following CXhrist.....sounds familiar to me!!

Yeah, I can see how the Catholic mind works. There is a group of people who have never heard of Jesus but they are really good people and do the right things so they are going to heaven. But the Catholics because the RCC says to tell everyone about Jesus go out there and tell them all about who Jesus is. They tell them He was born of a women who never sinned and never had sex and then He was crucified on a cross but came back to life again. Those people think the Catholics have lost their minds with some made up story like that and tell them to take a hike. Now those people who were going to heaven are going to hell instead just because the Catholics told them about Jesus.

you believe that story, why shouldn't they, you won't make heaven if you deny it, why should they?

what a silly mistake, that was Luther, or wait, maybe the Wesley brothers....oh well, the list could go on!!

It was. I checked it.

I had it on another tab before it was deleted.

I’m surprised that it lasted as long as it did.

Elsie was bad.....

For as with the Eucharist (and bind and loosing), in which" The priest speaks and lo! Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God, bows His head in humble obedience to the priest's command. (John A, O'Brien, >I>The Faith of Millions, Our Sunday Visitor (1938), p. 235; has Nihil obstat & Imprimitur) , so what Rome autocratically declares is truth must indeed be Truth, not because of Scriptural substantiation, by which the church established its claims. God subservient to man. Catholicism in a nutshell.

God made the rules, not Catholics, God honors His promises, man just lives by them.
