Sola Scriptura claims that "if something isn't in the Bible, then don't trust it with matters of salvation". Not quite.
That's how the RCC states it.
WE state it thus:
"If something isn't in the Bible, then it isn't NECCESSARY FOR salvation".

All right (and I've heard that variant before, though some of your non-Catholic confreres on this forum might not agree with you). Can you show me where THAT teaching is found in Scripture, then? Chapter and verse?
