There are stories in the book I mentioned of souls coming to meet the people who prayed for them and got them to heaven.Here is the fallacy in your thinking! We can't get anyone to Heaven! Jesus does.

The souls in Purgatory cannot pray for themselves. They depend on you. Maybe you have had a mother or father die. We ask Jesus to take them to heaven with him. What’s wrong with that?
