That is the point -- Protestants do not agree on that most important question of of all Christians.

Simple solution: We PROTESTants will get together and have the Holy Spirit lead us (our newly formed COUNCIL) to put it to a vote.

OBVIOUSLY; the MAJORITY of the voters will win the day, and that ALONE will PROVE that the Holy Spirit was leading them!

You are getting close to swerving into the truth there, Elsie.

The very fact that you recognize that the Holy Spirit does not and CANNOT teach contradictory teachings should prove to you that the Holy Spirit is not guiding the Protestant denominations in their obviously contradictory teachings, especially on such an extremely importan issue as salvation.

Official Catholic teachings have never been contradictory in over 2,000 years. What do you think that could mean, Elsie?
