Mom is young at 80. She’s had intestinal problems for about a week, thought it was a bug.
The night before last she had a fever, chills...Dad took her to the doctor in the morning.
They ordered a CT scan and found infected diverticulitis with possible rupture of the colon. Sent her straight to the hospital.
At the moment they are treating with antibiotics hoping to a avoid surgery.
Thank you, everyone, for the prayers.
She doesn’t like hospitals and she’s a fair shot with a pistol.

Mom came home from the hospital today and is probably watching the hockey game.

She is still ill but she'll get better care and she's happy to be home.

I thank you all for your prayers and I know they helped.
