It's not the Church that is in a quandry: BSA is openly acting against its own oath: "On my honor I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and
morally straight".
BSA has made itself obsolete with one incredibly stupid decision. I am the Charter Org Rep for my son's troop--I represent the Church to the Scouts. I'll be meeting with our pastor this week to discuss alternatives to Scouting.
