No I didn't read the article. I was going on comments here on the thread.
I guess his statements were misconstrued by others? I will read what he actually said.
My first impression with Pope Francis was that he was going to be conservative so was taken back by this.
Truth remains that salvation is through grace by faith in Jesus' blood, not of works.
