I agree mostly but some churches like where I live due to growth have just grown exponentially
Not a true mega church
But 3/700-1000 services each Sunday
I know my preacher
Dove hunt with him....never a hint
He adores his wife who sadly is struggling with cancer
No big toys either but they do well with the children books she writes
I am more suspect of TV preachers and those ashamed to name their denomination
That's something my own church is struggling with. There is a large part of the congregation that thinks "Baptist" in the name is hampering growth. And there is plenty of empirical evidence that they may be right. But I hate the idea of a church hiding who they are instead of boldly defending it.
