Halla the puppy has crashed
LOL!!! Does it count that my sister and I shared a bedroom until she was in Junior High? * Whew - now I am REALLLLLY dating myself - Plus, I was 6 years younger, and it was STILL “Junior High” when I got there, lol. No “Middle School” for me either ; P
Thanks so much for the laugh and the memory. Somewhere, there are men who served on the Saratoga, who saw my decidedly squirrelly early morning hairdo documented by my loving Mother, via Kodak, (another dead giveaway to my age, lol) sent to my Father, who proudly(?) posted it on a ready room corkboard, with the caption - “Looks kinda like a Mau-Mau” :):):)
Thank You Lord, for memories.
Tatt
My sister and I had a long narrow bedroom that we ... (hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa) shared. In reality, we fought SO much that our Dad put a wall up!!
:)
And we’re GREAT friends now. Go figure.
And yep, we had Junior High back in the dark ages, too.
Ugh on the picture!!! *Smiles* on a proud Dad. :) I miss mine.
Indeed! At our place all of the two leggeds immediately freeze in place, holler, “Go!Fergus!” and enjoy the show, while insuring that the pup doesn’t have to make a sudden high speed course adjustment at the last second : o
What a gift they are.

Pensive look. I miss mine too.
Gone far, far too soon.
But! The sister and I are close still. Smiles, she being so much older, was always my Supreme Protectoress ;) and Lord, did I need it : o
Now, I get to help her whenever I can, beams quite happily.
BTTT for Halla and Sal, her gentle giant, and all of their critters as well.
I just heard about your sweet little pup. Prayers are on the way, friend.
AAaaaWWWWW geeeez. I can NOT show my YOUNGER sister that. No way. Nuh uh. :)
Today’s update is a video.

I don’t know how she manages to be so messed up but still plays.
Maybe that is the miracle.
Still being fussy about food.
She has diarrhea from either her meds or the raw beef.
I just can’t get her to eat ‘good stuff’.
Other than that, she is as you see her up there...cheerfully oblivious to her plight.
I know I’m missing a slew of people on the ping list but I have shoulder spamss going that make me look like Quasimodo trying to type.
Stress, I guess.
Thank you!!! I am VERY happy to see her running around like that!
The whole thing is a miracle.....all of it.
You’re doing great. Halla clearly isn’t giving up. She learned to keep fighting from the alpha of the pack, I expect. :)
It seemed to me she was ‘saying’:
“I am a doberman, therefore I am THE BOSS. Pay ‘tention to me!”
Thank you. She is gorgeous!
Your other dog looks so much like mine except Olive has a pitbull type of nose & tail not as tightly curled.
Heh. When the butt-tuck chase begins here, it’s usually around the coffee table. Which means the two-legs swing all the way onto the couch, out of their way.
Mind you, these aren’t ankle biters - one’s 47 lbs, the other nearly double that.
So good to see!
Gyps is a Portuguese Podengo Medio.
They're merciless little hunters who have no concept of their size.
Gyp runs the joint, really.
Odin was being too oafish with the baby and Gypsy was running heavy interference to keep her safe.

[pardon Djinni’s obnoxious yapping..she was in the house due to her flakiness being dangerous to the baby]
Gypsy was REALLY on top of things!!! It’s amazing how they don’t know their sizes....dogs. All of them.
Really neat interaction. Halla? Just...being a puppy. Thanks again for sharing your kids with us, Sal!
Considering the relative rarity of Podengos, I assume my Olive is more of a pitbull, tho from the withers back, the two look similar.
Technical issues interfere w/ posting a pic. Olive is a hunter, tho for now she’s dedicated to harassing the birds who foolishly built their nest in the ashcan below my grill.
Great to see Halla up and about! and you Sal!
That’s quite a lot of wonderful exercise in that *Dog Park* you’re running there!
Thanks for the update! Vids are super!
Wow! Then it is DEFINITELY in your best interest to stay clear ;)
All the best to you and yours FRiend,
two and four legged.
Tatt
Thanks much for the updates Sal :) In the second video, it is interesting, (and funny!), that Halla opts to stay with Gyp! Odin, for all of his size and strength, looks a little confused/forlorn at the end, as Halla follows Gyp off on lark across the yard.
All the best,
Tatt
