GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Controversial author and former pastor of Mars Hill Bible Church in Grandville came out in support of marriage equality during a forum March 17 in San Francisco.
During the forum at Grace Cathedral, an Episcopal church, Bell was asked about his position on gay marriage, and responded by saying, "I am for marriage. I am for fidelity. I am for love, whether it's a man and woman, a woman and a woman, a man and a man. I think the ship has sailed and I think the church needs -- I think this is the world we are living in and we need to affirm people wherever they are."

The MSM is working overtime to have anecdotes of previously unkonwn homosexuals supporting homsoexual marriage. I am just waiting for mccain and graham to come out of the closet.
This is all propaganda to fool the USSC justices into the “born that way myth”.
Any lawyer that argues mere religion will lose.
of course he does... (ping)
This is nothing more than the liberal infiltration of Christianity in order to turn it in favor of their doctrine.
Sure it is. And when they fail to turn all Christians to their error they will use the power of the State to pound us into submission. In a few short years tax exemptions will be withdrawn and civil rights lawsuits will fly. Brick-and-mortar churches with paid staff will become a thing of the past. To be sure there will be big, beautiful fake churches in every city, just as there are in the PRC. But the real Christians will be underground.
No surprise. Maybe half a year ago, some Mormon dude was defending LDS teachings on hell by claiming that sophisticated Christian scholars agree with him. I asked him who he had in mind. “Rob Bell.” I LOLed.
One thing you will not find anywhere in your Bible — the words “we must affirm people wherever they are”.
But it is so much easier to simply accept people no matter what they do, then to actually preach that there is right and wrong. That message leads to people despising you. And nobody wants to be despised.
I mean, that could lead to getting hung on a cross or something.
FRiend you are by no means alone in that! Mark 9:24 "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."
Believing is not something that comes naturally to any of us,including christians. Not because it isn't true, not because God is hard to find but because the whole world and the god of this world is out to stifle any and everything pertaining to God and especially to His revealed word.In fact even our very own selves are at war with God out of a heart that we ourselves do not fully know.
Jesus Himself went so far as to say that believing was the "work of God".
"I often wish I could."
Please don't take this as flippant but....join the club!
