OK!! Why not look into a NON-RIVISED BIBLE??? Would you DARE to look at a BIBLE written BEFORE the KING JAMES BIBLE ....REVISED after King Henry the 8th could DIVORCE his wife to marry another and another and another and another and another and another and another another AFTER he had them all KILLED and STARTED the PROTESTANT religion....of which MANY MANY, MANY , MANY, MANY, MANY sects have SPLINTERED from that FIRST SPLINTER???? My guess is NO....what say YOU??

I am a Roman Catholic....what are you?....Ten to one, no ....a MILLION to one that you won't answer or say "I'm a CHRISTIAN". For some reason NO Protestant EVER tells me what they are and I am PROUD to say that I am a Catholic.

No, I can separate the machinery and the organization from the followers. I don’t dislike Catholic religious people. I am sad for them many times, yes.

Being a Christian, it is hard for me to respect the organization, you must understand, because I have read the entire Bible- a few times, and the religion doesn’t jibe with what is in the word of God.

I do have some respect left. It isn’t much, but I am a traditionalist and a conservative. I like that people hold old traditions ,out of respect for people who came before.

I just don’t think it has much to do with Jesus or God.

A lot of emotion in your postings. I am a Judeo-Christian (as were the disciples). I can go to any Christian church and worship God. I'm not a label. I do believe in the Bible as Gods Truth and not some catechism.

Mary visited Elizabeth probably her cousin, and Jesus leaped in her womb when she entered the room because Elizabeth was pregnant with John the Baptist.

I have never been taught any prayer.
The closest would be to use the Lords Prayer as a guild, if need be.
I know zero prayers by rote.

Sorry, but no cigar. The communion of saints was an article of faith from the very earliest decades. When you die you do not leave the Church. If the Evangelist John could be granted a glimpse of the saints in heaven gathered around the Throne worshipping the Lamb, it’s a pretty safe bet they are there. If they are in Christ (do you deny that) and if you are in Christ, then they and you are in Christ. To ask them, in and through the mystery being in Christ (which is what we are in) to pray with you is not divining or sorcery and the claim that it is doesn’t past the elementary reasoning test.

Ana-Baptist, Assyrian Christians, Coptic Christians....I never knew they were Catholic.
Well, learned something today.
You do get that be the “C”atholic it was catholic meaning universal - right.
And the people all (believers in Christ) called themselves Christians.

You do know that "The Lord's Prayer" was given to us by JESUS??/ I've even been to the place in Jerusalem where he gave that prayer to the Apostles when they asked how they should pray!!

Anyhoo, Elizabeth gave us the "Hail Mary" when Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth when she learned from the Archangel Gabriel, telling her that she was "with child, the LORD" and that her cousin, Elizabeth, an old woman, was with child also. And when Mary's greeting was heard, John the Baptist LEAPT in Elizabeth's womb!!!

We, as Catholics, say the prayer that Elizabeth said (it's in the Bible!) to Mary.

Are you SERIOUS??? Ana-Baptists are from 1521!!!!! Coptics and Assyrians are under the “Catholic” umbrella!! Have you never been to Jerusalem and the Holy Sepulcher??? ALL of the Catholic Churches are in the “Church of the Holy Sepulchre”.
