Coulda fooled me.

That's a common problem amongst anti-Catholics. We see it all the time here in Egypt.

That was also why on the day Christ rose, John let Peter in FIRST to see the empty tomb not only because of what Peter did by denying Jesus 3 times but in respect for the fact that Peter was head apostle.

Pure conjecture...

And let's not forget also that Peter high-tailed it out of Dodge when Jesus was crucified...The only one that stayed was John...A real leader, eh???

Christ, being God, knew that Peter would sucumb to fear but still appointed him as his vicar. However, he did repent of his sin of denial. He later gave his life as a martyr and was crucified upside down for Jesus.

I think he was a pretty awesome leader.

I hadn’t heard that Joel Osteen had converted to Catholicism. When did this happen?

When he saw all the material riches that the Pope gets to live with.

John 21: 15-17:

15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” 16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you truly love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” 17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.

Remember Jesus WOULD build HIS CHURCH on Peter, which means “rock”. Jesus not only FORGIVES Peter, but asks him 3 times, the same number of times that Peter denied Jesus 3 times during the time of Jesus’s passion, by asking Peter four simple words “do you love me?”

Jesus forgiving a servant leader.

An article on what could be posible explainations why John the beloved apostle, though he was called that, let Peter go in first to the empty tomb and it have been because of Peter being the leader of the apostles despite the failings of Peter.

Whoa !! Great minds must really think alike.

This is the only other guy in the country who said that and he's not Catholic, either.

This is the ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC and APOSTOLIC CHURCH founded by Christ on the Apostles.

When was your church founded?
