In Genesis, when God condemned the serpent to crawl on his belly forever....any idea how it got around before that?

FEDEX ? just joking... lol
However ? the serpent was only a vehicle and vessel into which the devil possessed to do his dirty work.
The serpent allowed the devil to take him over, or we can say that the serpent was just a animal and didn't have a choice or soul to resist.
The devil could not be allowed to take over Adam and Eve, he had to lie and trick them first.

Legs.... yes legs ... Boas and Pythons have vestigial limbs , partial remains of a PELVIS. If you pick one up and turn them over you will see a spur (small claw) that sticks out at the base of their tails .
