If a person believes that Jesus is the Son of God, that he was born of a virgin, was crucified and died, as payment for our sins, was resurrected by his Father 3 days later. If he/she repents of their sins, admits they are a sinner, and asks Jesus to come into their hearts, I believe that person is saved, and is a Christian.
