In the elections aftermath, the culture war looks like a rout. Few ever relished this fight; most preferred simply to be left alone. We arent community organizers. Sadly, neutrality was not realistic. No, being Switzerland was never an option. By not defending Americas heritage of limited government, free markets and biblical morality, were being overrun a la Belgium.
Powerful forces array. Christians consider this battle in spiritual terms. Conservatives sense a political donnybrook. Others deplore eroding standards of conduct and lost liberty. The Left vies for our childrens hearts, souls and minds. While no majority, progressives dominate the dissemination of thought. The mainstream media, entertainment industries, education system and much of government skew very far left.

Thanks, but honestly, the more appropiate verses are Rev 3:14ff.
America isn’t suffering from famine, but apathy.
That’s why we homeschool. Thanks
Amen
If Christians only vote for Christians we have very few choices. You can hold to that, which is fine, but keep in mind, we weren’t electing a religious leader, but an executive for a secular government.
Having said that, Romney absolutely took the faithful for granted and it cost him squat. Obama scorned us and still won.
The good news is our salvation isn’t in Washington.
Persecution has a purifying effect, no doubt.
A lot of credibility was lost supporting a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, cult leading Mormon Bishop from Massachusetts, who believes that he is in the process of becoming a God, who actually campaigned claiming that Reagan was adamantly pro-choice, and who recently rejected the party platform on abortion, and on homosexual Scout leaders, and homosexualizing the military.
It is still mind boggling how such a bizarre creature became the Republican Presidential candidate.
This is one for the history books.
I hope he and his didn’t break the party for ever.
We are currently in a state of 'apostasy'. The Scriptures state that such will be the case just before He returns.
Revelation 3:14 - 22...you are absolutely correct. The churches are apostate...lukewarm at best.
Yep
You know, that’s why I write in defense of freedom. Yes, free markets offer unsurpassed prosperity. Yes, there are many other benefits, but my biggest concern is passing on my beliefs to my children.
Thanks for this awesome post! Post of the YEAR!
Many of us twisted in our conscience about voting at all for the top contenders, relented out of desperation. If voting for Romney was a test, by God, then even Christians, in their desperation, failed it. We did not trust God, but relied on the facts on the ground more. Two non- Christians up for the office of the president and we voted for the evil deeds of both by voting for one.
They were practically clones. Romney rolled the same number on Massachusetts first, and Obama followed suit on the nation. I regret my vote for Romney and will never vote like that again.
We don’t know what miracle God may have wrought for our sake had we all trusted Him rather than the dire path of the ballot box, caught up in the predicament of our time. I have learned a lot.
