When posters are banned, the mod log records the date and reason given. Whoever banned you wrote that you had opus’ed out which basically means that you wanted to go.

Thanks for the clarification: that Miss Duffy was banned because she requested it not because she was a Romney supporter or a mormon.

I never opes'ed out but I got so sick of the attacks, piling on, bullying and general UNGODLY behavior I just changed my circle of friends. I know what it feels like to be persecuted for what you think and believe by childish hateful 'people' that hide behind anonymous screen names. Kids used to hassle me because of my Church in school. It's harmful to anyone firmly on a spiritual path - it's not a 'lamp unto your feet' but darkness.

Heresy is a very old concept for mind control. It is a personal opinion of some 'dead white guy'. I don't buy that - I will defend everyone's freedom of religion - a first amendment right - which SHOULD be embraced here. We should be welcoming lovers of God and the neighbor (the two great commandments).

I will speak out when I see violations of this, sometimes responding in kind to make my point. Saundra - chin up.... I came on this thread to help. I told 'svcw' that she and her ilk ran Mormon friends off of here. She replied she didn't.
