Not to the soul they are not.
islam and mormonISM both lead away from God Almighty, which is eternal.
That other stuff you mentioned is just to the body, which is temporal.
Because Jesus didn't harass anyone but the money-changers and the scribes/pharisees for lack of love/goodwill/charity. I don't judge - I just go by what people say and react.
Do you also believe someone is condemned to hell for their beliefs? Ever think that is the foulest thing that a so called Christian can say?
How can you SAY that???
Color coding explanation:
Added stuff... Changed stuff... Rearranged stuff... Removed stuff...
*(UNDERLINED stuff is the DISTRACTING reference on every tenth word or so that infuses LDS 'scripture' online.)

Total blasphemy.
They also teach that He was not virgin born, IWO, God had sex with Mary. Another critical point as that means He is a separate being from God, a created being.
That then, forces anyone who claims to put their trust in him for salvation to violate the second commandment, which is Exodus 20:1-3 And God spoke all these words, saying, I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me." because if Jesus is a separate entity, then going through him for salvation is putting another god before God.
If Jesus is God Incarnate, then that isn't an issue.
Well, indeed invite them in. (I always do)
We have great convos...but beware...same vocab; different twists of meaning...
Example: Joseph Smith claimed damnation = "damned up"...meaning eternal damnation was temporary...
As to "fruits" -- keep in mind that a person will be on their best outward behavior when they're auditioning for godhood...
Jesus soundly condemned the inward aspects of the legalistic Pharisees -- all the while even complimenting at one point their outward works...saying that unless a person's righteousness exceeded that of the Pharisees, they would in no wise inherit eternal life.
Knock, knock
Who's there?
Spirit of Apostacy with a message for Sandy

Well ‘kid’ isn’t really respecting what I asked. You have nothing to help me on my path but grief. You have failed the Great Commission. I suggest study of scriptures containing ‘neighbor’ and pray on it. I’ll be lurking.
Hey there Franklin!
In case you've not noticed; The MORMON you were snuggling up to a couple of weeks ago LOST!
You can now go back to your regular programming...
I have to say that in my last 5 yrs of posting, a comment similar to this one is one of the most common I've seen...So I'll answer it in a similar manner to how I've answered DOZENS of times before:
Wintertime, only a fool thinks the "brush fire" here on earth is the three-alarm, city-wide meltdown that hell represents.
I mean: Don't we take our cultural cue from a certain "Lord" named Jesus Christ? Who are we to follow when it comes to setting cultural priorities? Jesus? or Wintertime?
Here's Jesus:
"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him." (Luke 12:4-5)
So does Jesus say, "fear the Muslims?" (No)
Does Jesus say "fear the pagans and atheists?" (No)
Instead, does He say to exercise fear of the One who has authority to cast somebody into hell? (Yes)
So, indeed, our "fear" is on behalf of those who are placing their eternal spiritual lives at risk.
The other thing, Wintertime...some of us actually know how to multi-task!
Romney lost for one reason he was a terrible candidate and a liberal to boot.
Conservatives said - enough!
Bill Grahman NEVER endorse Romney or mormonISM, all he did was take down a page on his website that said mormonISM was a cult.
ahem.... post 292.....
Do you also believe someone is condemned to hell for their beliefs?
In a word, yes.
Ever think that is the foulest thing that a so called Christian can say?
In a word No.
Everyone is condemned to hell already unless they believe in Christ as He is who He said He was.
Is it Christian to warn someone that what they believe is in error according to Scripture?
You betcha. The most loving thing a Christian can to do is to warn them that they're in error and heading to hell for it.
Just like your beloved MORMON Religious Organization!!
I've noticed.
Holly please ping me when you reply, I look forward to it.
In the unlikely event that there might be noobies reading this, just WHY do you think they should believe YOU over documented evidence to the exact opposite?
Yes, I am. That has already been established.
Why do you fail to acknowledge that I am also unhappy that OBAMA won?
Doesn't fit your image that you've created of me?
Now that's what a lot of these MORMONs are saying to me; but, by golly, the TRUTH does that at times!
Kiss a goat or two in the morning, and the rest of the day will seem just fine.
(I just tucked mine into bed. It's still in the 60's here right now, but that snow UBIE showed me will be here in a couple of days.)
So why do you keep doing it?
What are you threatening me with? Hell?
People go to heaven or hell of their own free will. The choice is yours and yours alone.
my belief is there is ONE God of heaven and earth who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit: Jesus Christ.
mormonISM does not teach one god, they teach three gods.
I’m sure they will thank you for your kindness. I was an LDS missionary back in the 1980s and remember well some very pleasant and interesting times with people who invited us in to eat and talk.
Please cite scripture stating anyone is going to hell immediately after death of the body for what very well be reasons beyond their control (like people in China or Iran or those that lived under the USSR)? Don’t you think the all loving Lord would offer the chance to know ultimate wisdom of the highest heaven if they so desired when angels are there when you wake up? Read about Near Death Experiences. A new book is Eban Alexander’s “Proof of Heaven”. It confirms everything Swedenborg wrote of in Heaven and Hell
